Job summary

PNWU in Yakima, WA is seeking a Clinic Coordinator to support dental students as they complete clinical requirements. The role serves as the communication link between student providers, patients, supervising faculty, and the Clinical Program Liaison, offering administrative and procedural support throughout the three-year clinic.

The position reports to the SDM Clinic Director and involves coordinating day-to-day clinic operations, chart audits, data analysis for trends, meetings, and quality

Qualifications

• Required: 1–3 years in dental/clinic coordination.
• Education: high school diploma or GED; preferred: dental assisting certificate or dental hygiene degree.
• Experience with EHR systems, chart audits, HIPAA and patient data handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of the dental clinic's day-to-day operations.
• Support simulation lab activities and student chart audits.
• Maintain patient appointments and active patient portfolios.
• Generate reports on student progress using EHR and Acuity Insights.
• Participate in meetings and quality improvement programs.
