Job summary

Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) seeks a Clinic Coordinator to support dental students as they complete clinical requirements. You will act as the communication link between student providers, patients, supervising faculty, and the FQHC Clinical Program Liaison, providing administrative and procedural support throughout the students' clinic years.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: Dental Assisting certificate or Dental Hygiene degree
• Required: 1-3 years of experience
• Preferred: Dental office management, patient care coordination, electronic health record experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of the dental clinic, including planning, organizing, and coordinating day-to-day operations with the FQHC Dental Supervisor
• Support activities in the simulation lab at the clinic
• Assist students with chart audits of their patient portfolio
• Participate in meetings and continuous quality improvement programs
• Daily review of patient electronic health records and assist students with notes and CDT coding
• Maintain appointments for patients and active patient portfolios
• Participate in dental data analysis for trends and reports using EHR and Acuity Insights
• Perform other related duties as assigned
