Qualifications

• Previous experience in dental billing or dental insurance coordination preferred.
• Knowledge of dental insurance plans, claim submission, and insurance terminology.
• Familiarity with CDT codes, EOBs, PPO plans, and claim follow-up.
• Experience with DENTRIX software preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced dental office.

Responsibilities

• Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage.
• Submit and manage dental insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow up on outstanding, denied, and unpaid insurance claims.
• Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and insurance payments.
• Process claim corrections, appeals, and resubmissions as needed.
• Monitor accounts receivable and help maintain accurate patient accounts.
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies.
