Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join Healthy Smiles in a full-time role with a Monday-Thursday schedule from 7:30am to 5:00pm, excluding Fridays and weekends. The position offers a salary range of $29-$31 per hour, based on experience, plus benefits.

X-ray certification is required to qualify, and a supportive team environment emphasizes patient care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must be X-Ray certified as per job posting.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and provide patient education.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays; use iTero 3D scanner and digital photography where applicable.
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Maintain a clean, safe treatment room according to OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
