Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant for East Brewster Dental in a full-time role with Tue–Fri shifts, 7:30am–4:30pm. Salary ranges from $28–$32/hr, depending on experience, with benefits. X-ray certification is required.

You will greet patients, review health histories, take and process X-rays, assist dentists, use Dentrix for scheduling, and maintain a safe, compliant clinical area.

Qualifications

• Must have X-ray certification as required by state regulations.
• Experience working in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and support comfort and education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process X-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with strict safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and place orders as needed.
