Heartland Dental LLC in Dover, NH is seeking a Dental Assistant to join Healthy Smiles. This full-time role runs Monday–Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, with no Fridays or weekends, and offers a salary range of $29–$31 per hour plus benefits.

Responsibilities include chairside assistance, taking and processing x-rays, patient education, and using Dentrix and iTero systems. Must have X-ray certification and thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment while maintaining HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Must be X-Ray certified.
• Experience in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and ensure comfort and education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance and support to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders as needed.
