Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant for Family Dental of Seabrook. The Wednesday and Thursday shift runs from 7:30am to 5:00pm, supporting a friendly, fast-paced practice focused on patient care. You will take and process x-rays, assist dentists, manage supplies, and use Dentrix for scheduling and records.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• X-ray certification and dental assistant certification if required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and data protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and maintain comfort and education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and inventory; place and expedite orders as needed.
