The Smilist in Jackson, NJ is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver high-quality care in a warm, professional setting.

We offer full-time schedules (Mon–Fri with rotating Saturdays), a competitive hourly rate ($22.00–$30.00), and a benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant — at least 1 year.
• NJ x-ray license is required.
• RDA is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures.
• Dentrix experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while addressing concerns and promoting the doctor’s qualities.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment; prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors for efficient care.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain supply levels; order and replenish as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment
• Escort patients to and from the front desk
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management
