Job summary

The Smilist Dental is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join our Willingboro-area practice. You will assist doctors, prepare patients for treatment, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment to ensure high-quality care.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of dental assisting experience, NJ x-ray license, and strong teamwork and communication skills. We offer competitive pay, health and dental benefits, and opportunities for ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as Dental Assistant.
• Active NJ x-ray license required.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment and procedures.
• Dentrix experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player able to manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their concerns and promoting the doctor.
• Maintain a sterile, cheerful environment and prepare patients for treatment; assist doctors to ensure quality care.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain supply levels in each operatory; order and replenish as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

We are currently seeking a reliable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing practice and contribute to our mission of excellent dental care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment
• Escort patients to and from the front desk
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant - at least 1 year
• Must hold an active NJ x-ray license
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude

Position Details:

• Schedule:Full Time - Monday through Friday - no weekends!
• Salary Range:$22.00-$28.00/hour
• Location: Rancocas, NJ
