Job summary

Suwanee Dental Care, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team and support patients from their first visit. You will greet patients, review health histories, take x‑rays, and provide four‑handed chairside assistance to our dentists with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, patient-centric environments.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must protect PHI and comply with HIPAA training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records.
