Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (state requirements apply).
• Strong communication and patient service skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support and ensure a welcoming patient experience from check-in to treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for each appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with alginate denture impressions; prepare wax bites as directed.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and expanded duties where allowed by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, options, post-op care, and financial packages.
• Document patient medical histories and treatment information accurately.
• Take dental X-rays following state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterilize instruments and rooms.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support daily office operations and maintain a clean clinical environment.
• Travel for training and continuing education as needed.
