Affordable Dentures & Implants in Kyle, TX is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to support chairside care across dentures, implants, oral surgery, and prosthetic treatments. You will prep rooms, assist with procedures, take impressions, and educate patients, all while maintaining infection control and efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Dental Assistant and X‑ray certification is required where state mandates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding patient care and create a welcoming, positive experience from check-in through treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each patient appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, dental implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with alginate denture impressions, select impression trays, and prepare wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, repairs, and other expanded duties where allowed by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-operative care, home care instructions, and financial packages.
• Obtain and document patient medical histories, treatment information, and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) per state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards; clean and sterilize instruments and operatories.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering clinical supplies.
• Support daily office operations and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
• Travel occasionally for training and continuing education.
