Rutgers University, School of Dental Medicine, seeks a Dental Assistant in the Department of Restorative Dentistry within the Prosthodontics Postgraduate Program. The incumbent performs chair-side and desk-side duties, assists during patient care, and handles clerical tasks, sterilization, and dispensary duties as needed.

Essential duties include radiography, charting, implant procedure support, inventory management, and clinical kit preparation, with a 35-hour work week and on-site requirement

Formación

• Certificate of Dental Assistant and Radiology Licensure required.
• Primary Source Verification: Dental Assisting National Board required.
• Minimum of three years of dental experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Takes, develops and mounts x-rays and maintains x-ray supplies and logs.
• Charts examination under the direction of the doctor.
• Assists in implant procedures and maintains inventory of implant components.
• Serves as backup sterilization assistant and prepares clinical kits for students.
