Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a per diem Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant to support clinical operations on-site and at mobile sites. The role emphasizes documenting findings, assisting dentists, and delivering quality patient care.

The position requires an RDA or DA credential, BLS, and flexibility to travel to off-site sites as needed. A positive, collaborative team player with strong communication skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• One year dental assistant or related experience preferred.
• Dental Assistant and Radiation Safety certifications required.
• Current BLS certification required upon hire.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality dental hygiene within the scope of service and records observations.
• Documents dental history and treatment findings for staff review.
• Chair-side assistance to dentist during procedures and tests.
• Assists with or initiates emergency measures when needed during treatment.
• Develops and implements individualized dental care plans and educates patients.
• Travel to off-site locations to provide mobile dental services.
