Job summary

Hire Introduction is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support dental procedures and provide exceptional patient care. This per diem position requires a valid Registered Dental Assistant License and a commitment to maintaining high patient care standards.

Key responsibilities include assisting dentists, preparing instruments, taking x-rays, managing patient records, and educating patients on oral hygiene. Ideal candidates possess strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.

1-2 years of dental experience is preferred, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Registered Dental Assistant License by State.
• Maintain renewal of licensing.
• CPR BLS certification.
• Annual Continuing Education (CE) as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during treatment procedures ensuring patient comfort.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Take and develop dental radiographs as directed.
• Provide patients with post-treatment care instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques.
• Ensure the dental operatory is clean and stocked.
• Assist in dental emergencies and provide CPR/BLS.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
