Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CA Registered Dental Assistant license required.
• Valid X-Ray license required.
• Valid CA driver's license and proof of auto insurance required.
• BLS certification required at hire and maintained during employment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) or (English/Arabic) preferred.
• One year of registered dental assisting or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality dental hygiene within scope of service and assess patient conditions.
• Document dental history, findings, and outcomes for dental staff.
• Chair-side assistance to the dentist during tests, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform emergency measures for sudden adverse events during treatment.
• Deliver direct patient care using hygienist procedures like cleaning and X-rays.
• Develop and implement individualized dental care plans under supervision.
• Travel to offsite locations to provide mobile dental services as needed.
