Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current radiography certification is required.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia is preferred.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with a chair-side manner, prioritizing the patient experience.
• Assist doctors and hygienists with dental procedures and anticipate their needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs with accuracy.
• Review patient charts, log health history during exams and transcribe notes.
• Prepare, sterilize and arrange equipment and operatory per procedures.
• Educate patients and address questions or concerns.
• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver an extraordinary patient experience.
• Partner with staff to maintain excellent customer service and integrity.
