Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia certification preferred.
• OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training kept up to date.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with excellent chair-side manner.
• Be present, engaged and ready for assigned shift times.
• Assist doctors and hygienists with procedures and anticipate needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs of high quality.
• Maintain patient charts and document health history during exams.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory per guidelines.
• Support patient flow and scheduling, and educate patients.
• Collaborate with team to ensure outstanding patient service.
• Monitor supplies and assist with ordering.
• Promote Sonrava services and products.
• Complete daily checklists and participate in huddles.
