Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous oxide/Oxygen analgesia certification preferred.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient service with a chair-side manner, prioritizing patient comfort.
• Be present, engaged and ready to work at all assigned shifts.
• Assist doctors and hygienists with dental procedures and anticipate their needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs of high quality.
• Review patient charts, log health history and transcribe notes.
• Prepare operatory and sterilize equipment per procedures.
• Educate patients and address questions or concerns.
• Collaborate with team to maintain smooth patient flow.
• Support front desk with scheduling and lab coordination as needed.
• Monitor dental supplies and reorder using approved formulary.
• Promote Sonrava services and retail products.
• Complete checklists and participate in daily huddles.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
