Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia certification preferred.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA and infection-control training maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with a focus on patient comfort and chair-side assistance.
• Assist doctors and hygienists during dental procedures and anticipate needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs.
• Review charts, log health history, and transcribe doctor notes.
• Prepare operatory and equipment per procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain schedule and patient flow; educate patients and address questions.
