Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
• Current radiography certification required
• Dental Assistant certification, as required by state, or ability to become certified
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Current Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia certification preferred
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side manner by making the patient the number one priority.
• Be present, engaged and ready to work at all assigned shifts.
• Assist doctors and hygienists with procedures and anticipate their needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs.
• Review patient charts, log health history and transcribe notes.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory per procedures.
• Educate patients and address questions/concerns.
• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver extraordinary patient experiences.
• Partner with clinicians and support staff to maintain service quality and integrity.
• Assist front office with scheduling follow-ups and tracking lab cases.
• Monitor dental supplies and order using approved formulary.
• Promote Sonrava services and retail products.
• Complete checklists and participate in daily huddles.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and OSHA safety compliance.
