Job summary

Sonrava is seeking a Dental Assistant who prioritizes patient care and delivers exceptional service with a friendly chair-side manner. You will assist doctors, develop radiographs, and help maintain a smooth patient flow in a state-of-the-art practice.

You will support a team dedicated to quality care, HIPAA compliance, and safety standards, with opportunities for professional growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia certification preferred.
• Maintain OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with a chair-side manner.
• Assist doctor and hygienist with dental procedures and anticipate needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs.
• Prepare equipment and operatory per procedures.
• Support scheduling and patient flow to maintain the daily rhythm.
• Educate patients and address questions or concerns.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and safety standards.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Radiography certification

Dental Assistant certification

CPR certification (preferred)

Nitrous oxide/Oxygen analgesia certification (preferred)

OSHA/ HIPAA training
