Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification, as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia certification preferred.
• Maintain OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side manner and focus on the patient experience.
• Be present, engaged and ready to work at all assigned shift times.
• Assist doctors with dental procedures and anticipate their needs.
• Take, develop and mount high-quality radiographs.
• Review patient charts, log health history and transcribe notes.
• Sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory per procedures.
• Maintain schedule and patient flow with efficient procedures.
• Educate patients and address questions or concerns.
• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver an excellent patient experience.
• Support front office scheduling and lab case tracking.
