Sonrava is seeking a Dental Assistant focused on patient care to support doctors and enhance the patient experience in our state-of-the-art practice. You will provide chair-side assistance, take radiographs, and help maintain a smooth patient flow while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

This role requires a high school diploma, radiography certification, and a dental assistant certification where required; CPR or Nitrous Oxide certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification, as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Current Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia certification preferred.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side manner, prioritizing the patient.
• Be present, engaged and ready to work at all assigned shift times.
• Take direction from the doctor or hygienist and assist with procedures.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe notes.
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment per procedures.
• Maintain schedule and patient flow.
• Educate patients and address questions/concerns.
• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver an extraordinary experience.
• Partner with doctors, hygienists and staff to maintain service quality.
• Assist front office with scheduling follow ups and lab cases.
• Monitor dental supplies and order as needed.
• Promote Sonrava services and products.
• Complete checklists and participate in daily huddles.
• Maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Follow OSHA and BBP safety regulations.
• Complete Learning Management System requirements.
