Job summary

Wood River Health in Hope Valley, RI seeks a full-time Dental Assistant to join our clinical team onsite at multiple Rhode Island locations.

You will support the dentist with a range of procedures, manage radiographs and patient records, and help ensure a compassionate, efficient patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in Radiation Health and Safety is required.
• Minimum of one year dental office experience preferred.
• Ability to work onsite at multiple RI locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during operative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and surgical procedures.
• Position and expose digital radiography sensors.
• Take impressions for cast models.
• Review and record patient medical histories.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterilize equipment.
• Manage supplies and order replacements.
• Provide patient comfort before, during, and after treatment.
