Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and ensure patient comfort during procedures. You will prepare treatment rooms, take and develop X-rays, maintain charts, and assist with front desk tasks as needed.

The role requires adhering to infection control protocols and delivering friendly, efficient care. Mon-Fri schedule with competitive pay at $22/hour. Benefits are provided based on status and hours worked, including PTO, health, dental, vision, and retirement

Qualifications

• Certification in CPR or BLS required.
• X-ray certification or training required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort
• Take and develop X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations
• Assist with front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments, if needed
