Job summary

PDS Health in Chattanooga is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to assist the dentist and enhance patient care. You will help gain patient commitment for optimal treatment while maintaining a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include taking x-rays, intra-oral pictures, and instructing patients on oral health. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with state certifications/licensure and preferred associate degree or certificate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, plus mandated state certifications/licensure.
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college/technical school or equivalent preferred.
• Certification/licensure as mandated by the state (e.g., radiograph exposure, coronal polish).

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency.
• Contribute to the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on patient needs.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prep patients for treatment.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.

Education
