Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of supplies and instruments.
• Complete X-rays ordered by dentist and keep operatory clean.
• Ensure sterility and quality control in autoclaving and preparation of sterile solutions.
• Keep logs and maintenance records; ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Notify when repairs are needed and maintain professional appearance.
• Work cooperatively with coworkers and assist with orientation for new staff.
• Retract patient mouths and operate suction to keep mouth clear.
