Job summary

OLE Health is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant in Woodland, CA, to support Dentists and staff with chairside duties, radiographs, sterilization, and patient education. The DA will travel between sites as needed and must maintain high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a Dental Assistant certificate or 1–2 years of experience, CPR, radiation safety training, and proficiency with EHR systems. Bilingual preferred; driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; Dental Assistant certificate preferred or 1–2 years of dental assisting experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required; computer skills and MS Office experience.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems required; CPR certification required; radiation safety and related training.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform four-handed dental assisting duties for various procedures per dentist guidance.
• Take intraoral radiographs when permitted and in accordance with regulations.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain room/workflow efficiently.
• Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and post-op care guidance.
• Maintain sterility: clean/disinfect instruments and operatory; follow OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with dental charting and documentation in the EMR; inventory and supplies management.
