Job summary

OLE Health Napa County is hiring a Dental Assistant to support dentists and staff across multiple sites, including South Napa and North Napa campuses. The role involves taking X-rays, preparing trays, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring smooth patient flow with excellent customer service.

The DA will travel between campuses as needed and contribute to quality patient care within an inclusive health network offering dental, medical, behavioral health, and support services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school, or 1–3 months related training/experience.
• Previous dental assistant experience strongly preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform four-handed dental assisting duties across preventative, restorative, endodontics, oral surgery, pedodontics, and prosthodontics.
• Assist dentist and staff, maintain patient flow and charting, ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Take intraoral radiographs and assist with tray setups and sterilization.
• Maintain sterilization processes, PPE use, and proper handling of instruments.
• Prepare operatory equipment, assist in lab cases with proper documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; monitor inventory and equipment maintenance.
