Job summary

OLE Health in Davis and Woodland, CA is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists across sites. You will assist procedures, take X-rays, sterilize instruments, prepare tray setups, and help manage patient flow with a focus on excellent service.

Role requires travel between sites and adherence to safety, infection control, and documentation standards; high school diploma/GED and CPR required, DA certificate preferred, California-specific training may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant certificate preferred or 1-2 years of dental assisting experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• Computer skills and experience with an EHR system required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Proof of Radiation Safety, California Dental Practice Act, and 8-hour Infection Control training.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists in a variety of patient care and dental procedures.
• Take X-rays, prepare tray setups, and sterilize instruments.
• Maintain patient flow with accurate, professional interactions.
• Escort patients and ensure a positive customer service experience.
• Prepare operatory, follow rooming workflows, and document care.
• Operate radiography equipment when qualified and approved.
• Manage medical/dental histories and study models as needed.
• Maintain infection control per OSHA guidelines and policy.
• Support lab cases and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and universal precautions.
