Job summary

Ampla Health in California (Olivehurst) is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our patient-centered dental team. Under the supervision of the RDA Lead, the DA supports providers, educates patients on oral hygiene, and helps ensure a smooth clinic flow.

The role involves chairside assistance, taking digital x-rays, impressions, and pulp tests, plus room setup, sterilization, and inventory management. CPR certification is required, DA certificate, and prior experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and DA certificate are required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Dental assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, seat, and dismiss patients; assist with steady patient flow.
• Provide oral hygiene instruction and dental education.
• Assist with chairside procedures, suctioning, and curing materials.
• Take digital x-rays, impressions, and perform pulp tests.
• Set up and sterilize exam rooms and dental instruments.
• Maintain operatory stock and cleanliness.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and participate in trainings and CQI activities.
• Support flexible staffing needs across multiple clinic locations.
