This role focuses on patient safety, charting, radiography, and assisting dentists with procedures while upholding infection control standards. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, and Open Dental/Dentrix experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active CPR and AED training is required.
• X-Ray certification from AZ or DANB required.
• Current certification to monitor nitrous oxide.
• OSHA, HIPAA and infection control training completed.
• Open Dental or Dentrix experience is helpful.
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Focus on patient and team safety as a priority.
• Adhere to OSHA and infection control protocols.
• Maintain digital patient artifacts and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and parents on oral health benefits.
• Monitor patient well-being during visits.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain rooms and supplies.
• Chart treatments and review health history before doctor arrival.
• Take diagnostic X-Rays and attach to charts.
• Assist with cleaning and disinfecting exam rooms and common areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
