This role requires flexibility to travel 10-15% across different work sites and includes responsibilities from exam room preparation to digital record maintenance.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, CPR/AED, nitrous oxide certification, and familiarity with Open Dental or Dentrix.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active CPR and AED training.
• Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.
• Dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experience helpful.
• Sealant, Coronal Polishing, or PALS Certifications are a huge plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Ability to travel 10-15% of the time.
• This position may require the employee to use personal vehicle to travel to different work sites; active valid Driver’s License required.
• Compensation Range: $20-$24 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Focusing on Patient Safety and Team Safety as a priority.
• Adhering to OSHA and Infection Control Protocols and disposing of sharps and clinical waste safely.
• Maintaining digital patient artifacts such as health history, insurance eligibility, treatment plans, and appointments.
• Educating patients and parents on oral health benefits.
• Monitoring patient well-being during visits.
• Preparing tray setups per doctor preferences.
• Cleaning, disinfecting, organizing, and stocking exam rooms and operatories.
• Charting treatments and updating patient charts.
• Reviewing patient charts prior to doctor arrival and reconfirming concerns.
• Taking diagnostic X-Rays and attaching to charts.
• Assisting team with cleaning and upkeep of facilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
