Job summary

Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics is growing and seeks a team member to support dental patient care across multiple sites. The role prioritizes patient safety, infection control, and accurate charting, while assisting with imaging and procedure setup.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, CPR/AED, Nitrous Oxide monitoring certification, and experience with practice management software. Travel to different sites and a valid driver’s license may be required; compensation is hourly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR and AED training is required.
• Certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide is required or preferred.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training is required.
• Experience with Open Dental or Dentrix is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Focus on patient safety and team safety as priority.
• Adhere to OSHA and Infection Control protocols and dispose of sharps safely.
• Maintain digital patient artifacts including health history and eligibility.
• Educate patients and parents on benefits of good oral health.
• Monitor patient well-being during visits.
• Prepare tray setups per doctor preferences for procedures.
• Ensure exam rooms are cleaned, disinfected, and stocked.
• Chart existing treatment and update patient charts with entries.
• Review charts prior to doctor arrival and reconfirm concerns.
• Take diagnostic X-Rays and attach to patient chart.
• Assist Rodeo Team with cleaning and organizing areas.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
