Job summary

Salt Dental Partners in Hutchinson, KS is seeking an orthodontic assistant to support patients before, during, and after appointments. You will assist the orthodontist, take impressions, manage sterilization, and help maintain a welcoming, efficient clinical workflow.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of orthodontic experience, an active dental assisting license/registration as required by state, and CODA-accredited program (preferred).

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant, as required by your state
• 6+ months of experience as an orthodontic assistant
• Completion of a CODA accredited dental assisting program (preferred)
• Proficiency fitting bands and brackets, tying arch wires, and taking impressions
• Punctual, professional, and a strong team player
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
