Job summary

Salt Dental Partners seeks an orthodontic assistant to greet and support patients before, during, and after their appointments. You will take and process radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos, and help prepare and sterilize the treatment room.

You will document orthodontic care, assist the orthodontist with assessments and treatment plans, and perform routine duties such as adjusting braces. A CODA‑accredited dental assisting program is preferred, along with punctuality, teamwork, and

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant, as required by your state
• 6+ months of experience as an orthodontic assistant
• Completion of a CODA accredited dental assisting program (preferred)
• Proficiency fitting bands and brackets, tying arch wires, and taking impressions
• Punctual, professional, and a strong team player
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
