Job summary

Kids Connection is seeking an orthodontic assistant to join our patient-centered dental team. You will greet patients before, during, and after appointments, assist the orthodontist, take radiographs and impressions, and help prepare and sterilize the treatment room.

The role rewards teamwork and clear communication, requires 6+ months of orthodontic experience and an active dental assisting license, and prefers a CODA-accredited program.

Qualifications

  • Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant as required by your state.
  • 6+ months of experience as an orthodontic assistant.
  • CODA-accredited dental assisting program (preferred).
  • Proficiency fitting bands and brackets, tying arch wires, and taking impressions.
  • Punctual, professional, and a strong team player.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
