Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC in Haslet, TX is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our brand-new state-of-the-art office. You’ll work with Dentrix, assist with implants, and help create a patient-focused environment where quality care comes first.

You will greet patients, review health histories, take X-rays including iTero, provide four-handed chairside assistance, manage supplies, and support the team to maximize office workflow. Training and benefits are provided to grow with Heartland Dental.

Qualifications

• Must know dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate them.
• Review patient health histories to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance during procedures with supported dentists.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Manage supply and inventory, place and expedite orders, support office workflow.
• Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office efficiency.
