Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support and ensure a welcoming patient experience from check-in through treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for each appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with alginate denture impressions; prepare wax bites with dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and expanded duties where allowed by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-op care, and financial packages.
• Document patient histories, treatment info, and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs per state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support daily office operations and maintain clean clinical environment.
• Travel occasionally for training and CE.
