Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate, skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Georgia. Work alongside experienced dentists and in-house lab professionals to deliver high-quality tooth replacement solutions, including dentures and implants, in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

You will provide chairside support throughout treatment, prepare operatories, assist with denture procedures, impressions, and X-rays, and educate patients on care and financial

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification as required by state.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding patient care and a welcoming experience from check-in to treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for each appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, dental implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with alginate denture impressions, select impression trays, and prepare wax bites.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and other duties where permitted by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-operative care, home care instructions, and financial packages.
• Document patient medical histories, treatment information, and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering clinical supplies.
• Support daily office operations and maintain a clean clinical environment.
• Travel occasionally for training and continuing education opportunities.
• Perform additional duties to support patient care and office success.
