Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced prosthodontics environment. You will work closely with dentists and lab professionals to deliver tooth replacement solutions and exceptional patient care.

You will help with denture procedures, implants, and oral surgery, prepare operatories, take impressions, and educate patients on treatment plans and care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification where required by state.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to teamwork and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support and ensure a welcoming patient experience.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment and materials for each appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery and extractions.
• Take denture impressions and wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and other expanded duties per state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and post-op care.
• Obtain patient histories and document clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental X-rays in line with state requirements.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization standards.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support daily office operations and travel for training as needed.
