Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to support denture procedures, implants, and oral surgery in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will work alongside experienced dentists and in-house lab professionals to deliver high-quality tooth replacement solutions.

The role emphasizes patient education, accurate record-keeping, and strict infection control while supporting daily office operations and occasional travel for training.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; X-ray certification as per state requirements.
• Strong communication and patient service skills are essential for a positive patient experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment; teamwork and professionalism are required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide chairside support and ensure a welcoming patient experience from check-in to treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, and materials before each patient appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments per state regulations.
• Take alginate impressions and wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and expanded duties as allowed by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, and post-operative care.
• Record patient medical histories, treatment information, and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterilize instruments and operatories.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support daily office operations and travel for continuing education as needed.
