Affordable Dentures & Implants in Georgia is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to support dentists during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics. You’ll provide chairside care, prep operatories, and help educate patients about treatment options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (where required by state).
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care.
• 1+ year of dental assisting experience.
• Experience assisting with dentures, removable prosthetics, or dental implants.
• Experience taking denture impressions and wax bites.
• Experience assisting with oral surgery and extractions.
• Experience with prosthodontic procedures.
• Familiarity with dental practice management software and electronic patient records.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetics.
• Take alginate denture impressions and wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and other duties per state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, options, post-op care, and finances.
• Document patient histories and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs following certification requirements.
• Maintain infection control and sterilize instruments.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support daily office operations and keep clinic organized.
• Travel for training and continuing education as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support patient care.
