Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants in Phoenix is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to support dentists during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics. You’ll prep operatories, assist chairside, and help educate patients about treatment options and post-operative care.

This role offers hands-on training in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment with opportunities to grow in prosthodontics and lab collaboration.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (state dependent).
Strong communication and patient service skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

Deliver chairside support and ensure a welcoming patient experience.
Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for each appointment.
Assist dentists during denture procedures, implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
Take and assist with denture impressions and wax bites under dentist direction.
Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and other expanded duties where allowed by state law.
Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, and post-operative care.
Document patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately.
Take dental radiographs in accordance with state certification requirements.
Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards and manage inventory.
