Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants seeks a compassionate Dental Assistant to support clinicians in dentures, implants, oral surgery and removable prosthetics. You’ll gain experience alongside in-house lab professionals and experienced dentists in a fast-paced, patient‑focused setting.

You will prepare operatories, assist with denture procedures and radiographs, educate patients on care, and help ensure efficient, high‑quality care across procedures and post‑op instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification required where state law dictates.
• Strong communication and patient service skills essential.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional chairside support and a welcoming patient experience from check-in to treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment and materials for each patient.
• Assist dentists during dentures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with denture impressions, select impression trays and prepare wax bites.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, repairs and other duties allowed by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, options and aftercare; document medical histories and notes.
• Take dental radiographs in line with state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards and inventory levels.
• Support daily office operations and travel for training when needed.
