Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant in Ohio to join our team. You will work closely with dentists and in-house lab professionals in a fast-paced practice focused on dentures, implants, and prosthodontics.

Responsibilities include chairside support, patient education, and assisting with denture impressions, implant procedures, and oral surgeries. State-required certifications must be maintained, and a patient-first approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (where required by state).
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chairside support and create a welcoming patient experience from check-in to treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, dental implant placement, oral surgery, extractions and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with denture impressions and wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, repairs, and expanded duties as allowed by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, and post-operative care.
