Job summary

SouthPark Pediatric Dentistry in Charlotte is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant II to join our pediatric practice. You will assist dentists chairside, prepare and sterilize instruments, and help create a welcoming environment for children.

Responsibilities include taking dental X-rays, educating parents on oral hygiene, maintaining accurate patient records, and supporting front-office tasks as needed. Certifications in CDA or EFDA and Coronal Polishing with Nitrous Oxide are preferred or

Qualifications

• CDA or EFDA certification required or in process.
• Coronal Polishing & Nitrous Oxide certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience.
• Strong understanding of dental anatomy, HIPAA compliance, and infection control.
• Pediatric dentistry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Curve dental software preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
