Smile Starters Dental in Charlotte is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant II to join a pediatric-focused practice. You will welcome patients, prepare for procedures, and assist the dentist chairside with 4-handed dentistry to deliver comfortable, high-quality care.

Candidates should have graduated from an accredited dental assistant program and prove experience; bilingual abilities are a plus. The team emphasizes collaboration, ongoing training, and patient education.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients and families to the office with professionalism and warmth.
• Conduct pre- and post-operative patient consultations.
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring comfort.
• Select, prepare, and arrange instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures.
• Sterilize instruments according to regulatory standards.
• Assist the dentist chairside using 4-handed dentistry.
• Perform lab-related tasks as instructed.
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked operatory.
• Schedule appointments and assist with payment procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Support the dental team with other duties as assigned.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable

• Additional certifications or training are an asset
• Bilingual abilities a plus

Requirements

• CPR Certification
• Coronal Polishing Certification
• Nitrous Oxide (N2O) Certification a plus
• Graduate of an accredited dental assistant program
