• High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
• Licensed in Indiana to take dental radiographs or pending provisional license within 6 months of graduation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Dental Assisting National Board Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receives and prepares patients for treatment, including seating positioning and preparing supplies.
• Takes and records vital signs and notes patient information.
• Exposes and evaluates radiographs for diagnostic quality.
• Charts existing restorations or conditions and documents patient care.
• Provides patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
